This is a really nice drink recipe I found in a magazine.  This was a big hit at my last New Years Eve party.

An easy-to-batch drink served by bartender Jasper LaFranc of Jamaica's Bay Roc Hotel in the 1970's.

1 1/2 oz Dark Rum
1 1/2 oz Secret Mix (below)
1 1/2 cups crushed ice

Blend for 10 seconds, pour into a highball glass.  Garnish with orange slice and cherry.

Jasper's Secret Mix (make in advance)
1 cup lime juice
1 cup sugar
Angostura bitters - 8 - 10 dashes or to taste
Freshly grated nutmeg - 1/4 tsp or to taste
Stir and let steep in the fridge for 2 hours
