This black Friday, me and some of the guys got together and went to Three Floyds in Munster Indiana. It's an awesome microbrew pub with great food and great beer. We tried Creeper and Gumballhead, but we always fall back to our favorite "Robert the Bruce". This beer is just exceptional right off the tap. It's great in bottles too when you can find it. So, between the six of us, we had 24 Bruces.
In attendance were Zach, Glenn, Marty, Dave, and Mike P. After the first round, we ordered some of their delicious food. I love the fish and chips, so that's what I ordered. Mike, Glenn and Zach ordered the fish and chips as well. Marty had a burger, and Dave had the BBQ beef. The food was great.
As usual, the place was packed, and there was a waiting line outside. Apparently they didn't want us just hanging around all day, so they let us know we were done after a few hours of beers and BS. They kicked us out before I could pick up a few growlers of RTB. Oh well, maybe we won't be as obnoxious next year. (Who am I kidding, of course we will!)
It would be nice for them to throw on an addition that allowed smoking. Having a stogie with Robert the Bruce would be awesome.
